Fat Burning Furnace Overview
The Fat Burning Furnace diet is a 161 page eBook created by Rob Poulos that started in 2006. Rob is a former overweight person who developed the strategies to lose weight offered in his eBook while trying to lose weight himself.
According to Rob, much of the information currently available on weight loss and exercise is deceptive. Instead, his eBook offers easy to follow advice on turning your body into an efficient fat burning system, thereby making you lose unwanted fat and build muscle much faster than you would on other methods.
Fat Burning Furnace Pros and Cons
Hey! This is Mica Sarandon here, and you’re reading my review of what I really thought about Fat Burning Furnace.
Pros
- You get immediate access to the PDF eBook via download once you place an order.
- The Fat Burning Furnace includes vegetarian meal options.
- Program comes with email coaching.
- Supplements and meal replacements are not recommended, instead dieters learn how to lose weight by consuming real food.
- The Fat Burning Furnace includes specific advice for those who have been living a sedentary lifestyle; this group of people often has the most trouble with exercising and changing their eating habits.
- The program is pretty simple to follow and can fit into a busy schedule. It is also designed for both men and women.
- Customer feedback is high.
- The eBook costs around $40 and comes with a 60 day refund policy if the product does not meet your expectations.
Cons
- The diet makes the ultimate claim that in 7 weeks you can lose up to 26 pounds of weight. However, dietician recommendations are that dieters should lose no more than 1 to 2 pounds a week.
- Only 15 minutes of exercise for 2 to 3 times a week is recommended. Most experts recommend exercise for 30 minutes to one hour for 3 to 5 times a week at minimum.
How Does Fat Burning Furnace Really Work?
The eBook contains over 100 pages of information on losing weight the right way. Several free bonuses are also provided.
With the Fat Burning Furnace, dieters are taught to do high intensity resistance training for a 15 minute period to lose weight.
They are also taught to eat satisfying food items that keep them from getting hungry. Instead of burning fat, the program focuses on burning carbohydrates, thereby encouraging your body to naturally burn stored fat to replace the carbohydrates lost.
Step-by-step guidance teaches you how to maximize your results in the smallest amount of time.
Dietitian’s Notes
My initial thought was the program was “too good to be true”. It was a shock to read the program guarantees to help people lose 26 pounds in 49 days. There is no possible way someone can make that type of guarantee and honor it. This is another diet that works only because of calorie restrictions and exercise, rather than some secret weight loss discovery.
I disagree with the FBF’s take on the “conspiracy” that the diet industry is trying to keep people over weight. Eating too much and not exercising enough is the real reason obesity exists. Rob’s five “truths” are bizarre as well, ranging from the obvious “boxed food diets are expensive” to the false “cardio exercise is the worst way to lose weight”.
Exercise
Although one of our cons about this diet is that it requires a home gym or access to a gym in order to perform most of the exercises, there are plenty of resistance exercises you can do to get started and work your way up to a “gym membership”.
Fat Burning Furnace Implements 3 Principles to maximize fitness results.
Principal 1 – Intensity
Principal 2 – Volume and Frequency
Principal 3 – Progression
For those that have access to equipment here is a short list of exercises you can expect: Squats, Bent Over Rows, Pull ups, Overhead press, Dips, Shoulder Shrugs, Bent Arm Flies, Tricep pull down, and MUCH MUCH more… The ebook goes into detail on how to do these exercise properly.
The idea is to do high intensity workouts no more than 2 to 3 times per week to allow your body time to recover. For those without gym equipment, there are several recommendations on what exercises you can do from home without equipment on page 92.
Eating and Meal Plans
Fat Burning Furnace has over 50 pages dedicated to eating, planning, and understanding what foods will give you the best results. They provide you with recipe ideas, a meal guide, how to create quick snacks, how to enjoy alcohol and treats in moderation, and more.
Below is a sample meal plan from page 132 of the ebook.

Fat Burning Furnace: My Conclusion
Even though the diet makes exaggerated claims, it is not a scam or gimmick, nor does it have any snopes associated with it.
The Fat Burning Furnace diet does contain some legitimate information that almost anyone can use such as: restrictions in eating tend to be hard to follow, fad diets are a joke and that most people who follow these methods end up regaining all the weight they lose. It also gives equal attention to exercising and eating real foods to lose weight.
Sample meal plans, free recipes online and diet progress trackers that can be printed are also effective weight loss tools.
Truth is, although the Fat Burning Furnace may contain some unconventional methods to losing weight the information is pretty solid and most importantly will get you off the couch and making real lifestyle changes.

The core idea behind Fat Burning Furnace is doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This isn’t a new idea, but FBF takes it to a whole new level and helps get you the most results for the minimum amount of time.
The basic idea behind HIIT is to push your body to it’s limit with just a few intense reps. This breaks down your muscles, and as they rebuild themselves, they burn away a lot of calories and eat up all your fat deposits. It’s really quite effective.
Fat Burning Furnace gives you few different HIIT workouts that you can use based on your fitness level and whether or not you have access to a gym, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all workout program.
The diet program helps you fuel your body and complements the exercises. It goes into a lot of detail with portion sizes and amounts and such. I’ve never really been into all that. The diet part is okay, but the real magic is in the HIIT exercises. As long as you eat a healthy diet and do the HIIT you should be fine.

Does the Fat Burning Furnace program work?
I have spent quite a bit of money on diets and things of that nature. I ran across the Fat Burning Furnace website and it looks legit to me. I’ve looked at a couple other websites that say it is. But I wanted to be sure before I do it and make sure I get real answers from real people. Does it work?

I have tried the product and I think it is great. It works by toning your muscles using weights, which allows you to burn off fat calories for longer periods of time.
Start eating healthy food. Not less, just healthier. No excess sugars ( pop, chocolate, etc)
If you eat 5 servings of fruit a day your getting all the sugar (naturally) your body needs.
You should also be walking 30-60 minutes per day. Running will increase the speed of the results. Biking is somewhere in the middle.

I’ve never seen that but it’s likely its a very lose definition of how the body reacts to diet and exercise. This is the way it really is….Food is the fuel for you body like coal is the fuel for a steam train. The train has to be fed a constant supply of fuel (coal in this example) in order to work at peak performance. We are the same way. Feed the body fuel the activity. That’s why most any body builder or trainer will tell you to try to eat 5 to 7 small meals throughout the day. It give your metabolism something to do constantly. Lets say the guy feeding the coal to the boiler of the train falls asleep and the fire goes out…what happens to the train with no heat to generate the steam to operate…the train stops. Of course the human body is far more efficient than that train but you can get the picture. Don’t forget to keep the water flowing as well. For my last show I trained hard for 9 weeks. Ate seven times a day and during that nine week time frame I drank over 600 lbs of water and still lost 15 pounds in the process. That’s a good example of just how much water the body uses and needs. Losing weight is all about what, when and how much you eat combined with a routine that will pump you up and burn the fat while your at it.

I much prefer a place where I could take all muscle building information from one source. Don’t get me wrong, this article is great. I’m going to link this on my site and refer it to others.

This is the first time I wrote a testimonial on any product. After suffering from cold sores for 8 years, I finally found something that works! I’ve tried all the prescription meds like valtrex and zovirax. They seem to work, but take forever to get rid of the outbreak sores. With Herpanex, I’m able to get rid of them before they even pop up. I use it every time I feel a tingling feeling and usually I don’t even get an outbreak.

Hi there,
I actually started Fat Burning Furnace last week, and so far I like it.
To start off you don’t do just 15 mins/ day… you start at about 30 mins/day 3x each week. 15 mins/day is for people at the intermediate/advanced level who are already burning fat.
The program is deceiving.. kind of like when I used to do Windsor Pilates. I started off with the 20 min work out expecting it to be easy, but it was anything but, and after doing it for a week I was hurtin’! Same kind of thing with the FBF exercises they don’t seem like they’ll do much, but you definitely feel it when you’re done . I don’t have access to a gym so I’ve been doing the FBW version of the plan (using my own body weight to create the resistance exercises).
Also, If you are doing the exercises like you’re supposed to be doing them (at a ‘brisk pace’), you do get your heart rate up. And, you can add in 30-45 mins of cardiovascular training if you find that you loose fat better that way. FBF promotes HIIT training ( High Intensity Interval Training).. i.e. alternating between walking, running, & sprinting for 20 mins.
So, are you going to lose fat doing the exercises half-a**ed and still eating crap? No, obviously not. Like anything, this program does not work miracles for you, you have to be devoted and give the program 100% to see results. Personally, I like it cause I hate dieting, I want to regain back the lean muscle mass I used to have when I was more active (I was a dancer), and I hate running.
It really is all up to the person though. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to ask!

This is the fifth week and I have lost 16 pounds and gone down two pants sizes!! I’m so overjoyed that I bought a pair of jeans today another size too small because I know I’ll get there easily.
